How to OCR Text in PDF and Image Files in Adobe Acrobat

The alternative is to do column or block copies. In the past this was done by using the alt key when selecting the area of interest (works in my AA9). That allows you to copy column by column and generally the lines separations will still be used. Hope that does it.

How to Copy and Paste PDF Content Into a New File: 15 Steps

Question: I have a signature stamp wherein I need to add an accounting code each time I use it. On a previous version of Acrobat (I have Pro XI), I could place the stamp where I wanted it on the page and then add a text box on top of the stamp. Since I was upgraded to vXI, I can’t get the text box to show up. It’s created but just doesn’t show up on the page and won’t print. Is there a way to modify my signature stamp so that I can add that accounting code, similar to the Dynamic stamps you reference above?

In that sidebar, select the Recognize Text tab, then click the In This File button.

Is there a way to change the color a Dynamic Stamp? I found out how to change the color of the pop up, but I want the actual Received stamp to be a different color. We have multiple users and I want mine to be different then the rest.

If a document has restricted features, any tools and menu items related to those features are dimmed in Reader.

6. Is it possible to dock the properties tool bar (the ctrl-E bar) in XI Pro? It sounds like it did not work in X Pro. It was nice to have up all the time.

An easier way would be to screenshot the page. You open the pdf to full screen and hit alt+prt sc. This copies the image to your clipboard. Then simple paste this into paint, there you can crop out what you don’t want( unwanted text from the document) and save it as a picture. then just insert the pic into your new doc. Voila!

We want all the words to all be in a single cell at the top of each column. Easily fixed! We just need to merge these cells vertically.
