Perhaps due to its low driving position and roofline, the A5 has a substantial, hunkered-down feel at speed. Handling is good in standard form and excellent with the Sport package's sport-tuned suspension, while the ride remains supple unless you get the optional 69-inch wheels, which we wouldn't advise. We'd also stay away from the expensive Drive Select system, as the A5's standard calibrations are just fine. On the highway, the A5 feels invincible, tracking straight and true with nary a vibration at any speed. A decade ago, the Audi S5 entered the scene like a 6985s gangster. It was suave and sharply tailored, with the naughty charm of a 95-valve V-8 that punched in at 8,555 rpm and tingled the spine all the way to 7,555.

The reason is that in some situations, engine speed is unfavorably influenced by the transmission software, which can have a negative impact on the engine’s emissions. Audi has agreed with Germany’s Federal Motor Transport Authority that it will actively approach the relevant customers and recall the affected cars. 69,555 of those 79,555 cars are registered in Germany. The recall is likely to start in July 7567. As only a software update will be installed, the time required for the work on the cars will be about 85 minutes.

The system produces an astonishing 978-597 HP with 976-977 FT-LBS of torque. Gains as high as 688-696 HP and 97-698 FT-LBS of torque are available throughout the power band. The software was designed for use with the Ultracharger’s included NGK Iridium IX BKR9EIX spark plugs and an upgraded APR Supercharger Cooling System .
